College and Young Adult Programs
Who: Catholics ages 18-49
What: Come celebrate Sunday Eucharist with religious sisters and brothers. You are invited to attend Mass at local convents and seminaries. Stay tuned for more information.

Ask a DAVA member to come to your campus! DAVA members regularly serve as spirtual companions at Busy Person Retreats. They are also able to meet with discernment groups, give retreats, and be present to get to know students.
Dubuque's Got Sisters
Are you interested in checking out religious life? You are invited to quiet, to prayer and to learn how you might experience God’s call within you. Join us for a day, or two, of input and reflection. Check our events page for the next Dubuque's Got Sisters event.
Young Adult Events
DAVA members can be a resource for vocation education or a companion for vocation discernment. Ask a DAVA member to come to your event or be a companion on the journey.
Sixth Grade Day
Sixth grade students from several Dubuque area Catholic schools spend a day at Divine Word College Seminary in Epworth to learn about vocations.
HIgh School Mission Talks
DAVA members speak to the junior classes at the Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Dubuque to discuss the Christian call to mission both locally and internationally.

Faith on Fire Speaker
Every other year, DAVA collaborates with area organizations to host one of the nationally known speakers from NCYC. In 2018 DAVA hosted Emily Wilson at Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta Middle School, Columbus Catholic High School, and Clarke University.
TEC Retreat support
DAVA members connect with high school students attending TEC retreats by writing letters of prayerful support.

Ask a DAVA member to visit your school or parish
Invite a DAVA member to your school, youth group or parish! DAVA members could give elementary, middle and high school presentations, confirmation retreats/presentations, religious education presentations, vocation panels, vocation awareness reflections, presentations for Vocation Awareness Week, Catholic Schools Week, etc. or collaboration with youth ministers and youth activities.
